Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began training in combat sports. In addition to BJJ training, she also trained in wrestling, boxing and kickboxing. In the age of 18, Ladd made her first appearance as an amateur in WCFC. Ladd kept building on her triumph during Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won 3 consecutive bouts. She defeated all her competitors in the initial round. Aspen went back to WCFC for the purpose of defeating Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia B beghian and Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen to beat her a unanimous decision, putting the mark of a loss on Aspen's record as an amateur. Ladd bounced back from the defeat and beat Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to increase her record to 8-1. Aspen began her career in the year 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC for her professional debut. Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and dominated her in the first round to win a TKO. Invicta 16 saw her move up to Bantamweight after winning her fight with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen utilized her expertise in wrestling to knock down McGill via TKO in the third round (elbows & punches). She next fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 at catchweight(138.1lb) as Ladd missed weight despite this Aspen dominated Hoy and defeated her in the second round by KO. Invicta FC21 was her last fight for the company. The winner was Sijara Ebanks in a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She defeated Lina by grounding and pounding her to the ground, gaining the TKO in the second round. She remained dominant as she picked up another big win over Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd defeated Evinger with a punch during the first round she was awarded a Performance of the Night bonus. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes, in a UFC Fight Night dos anjos-lee match with Eubanks' Sijara was the first fight she had in any major role. Ladd was victorious in by a unanimous decision following an intense back and forth battle with the fighters got her Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie took 16 seconds to stop Ladd and her streak. Yana Knitskaya fell in the third at UFC 7.7 on ESPN. She took on Norma Dumont as a substitute in her last fight with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. Her defeat was decided by majority vote.
