Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts born to Betty Lou Bredemus (mother) and Walter Grady Roberts on October 28th, 1967. Her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer, was one of the first Roberts to settle in Atlanta. At an early age, her father became interested in theater. He acted on the Emory University campus in 1952 and also in a variety of productions in Atlanta. He joined the air force in 1953 and, while being stationed at Biloxi Mississippi, was cast in a military production that included Betty Lou Bredemus who was as well in the air force. The couple got married in 1955 and the couple's first child Eric Anthony was born in 1956. Walter was enrolled in Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana. In 1957 they quit the Air Force and Walter began his studies at Tulane. Walter was a part of the Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio at the time the family relocated from Atlanta to Decatur in Georgia in 1960. Walter as well as Betty Lou financed their own production of a Sunday morning show for children, Bum Bum and His Buddies. They established an Actors and Writers Workshop in that same year. It was in operation for a period of about six years. In the meantime, they also had two youngsters Lelisa (called Lisa) Billingsley in the year 1965 in 1965 and Julia (called Julie) in 1967.
